The short version: the apps collect nothing, this website tracks nothing, and payments are handled by Gumroad. The detail is below.

The apps

Whimbrel runs entirely on your Mac. It has no analytics, no telemetry, and no account system. It talks only to the Immich server you configure, which is a server you control. Your photos and API key never pass through Quub SAS. It needs no internet connection beyond reaching your own server.

This website

This site is static. It sets no cookies, runs no analytics, and uses no third-party trackers. We don't know who visits and we don't build any profile of you.

Payments

Purchases are processed by Gumroad, our payment provider and Merchant of Record. When you buy, Gumroad handles your payment and billing details under its own privacy policy. Quub SAS receives a record of the transaction, such as your email and which edition you bought, so we can provide support. We never receive your card details.

If you write to whimbrel@quub.tech, we keep that correspondence so we can answer you. Nothing more.

Your data

Since the apps and this site store nothing about you, there is little to request. For anything held by our payment provider, or to ask a question, email whimbrel@quub.tech. The data controller is Quub SAS, registered in France.
